I will assume people know what they are looking for, and will concentrate on what is outstanding here. I have previously owned Fujifilm S5600, S2000HD.

You can lock focus when video recording.

Video can have sensor-shifting anti-shake. It works brilliantly, especially when zooming.

Low light performance raises serious issues in finding enough darkness.

Lens flares are superb - no readout lines, just great flares.

Macro photography is limited by the lump of glass at the front. You can get that close - it's nuts.

Super zoom, panorama, burst mode, high speed are all extras.

At this price you have to be mad not to get this if you wish to play around as a film maker. They finally fixed all the major issues with bridge video cameras, and at a giveaway price. Seriously consider buying more than one.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. The picture quality is poor and it's far too complicated. Maybe Fuji should have concentrated more on the basic lens quality and less on the gimmicks. Would NOT reccommend it.

I bought this camera recently from PC World for £89.99 and can honestly say it is a brilliant camera and gives outstanding results in many conditions such as indoors with low lighting. Colours are vivid due to CMOS sensor and primary colour filter. Brilliant results time and time again and easy to use. You will not be disappointed with this camera !
