The Silicone Jacket provides excellent protection for the camera and gives better and more secure handling. My main reason for purchasing the Jacket was to provide safe handling while canoeing, much less likely to slip out of the hand, particularly when wet. One thing to note is that the camera with the jacket will not fit in the Fuji case but the jacket can quickly and easily be slipped off.
