Sorry to be another "I too was worried......" but again after reading all the recent reviews sent for this case and i'm so glad i did. The build is great and the camera went in fine first time..it fits perfectly, and the side pocket for spare card and battery is perfect fit too.
It is so much better i feel to have a case fit the camera perfectly than have it rattling about in a much larger case. I am more than happy with the case and the service from Amazon.
If you are concerned the camera won't fit or it's a tight fit, don't be, it fits in perfectly

I ordered this case before I read all the reviews which most people say is a bad case. This worried me and this did not help when I got it. It was small. Smaller than a few I had seen in the shops. Well, when I got home and got my new S2500HD out of the box it fit beautifully into the case with no problem at all. It is the perfect size with no restrictions or forcing. It has a belt loop on it and nice strap. I can get a spare set of batteries and SD card into the pouch and that's all you need I think.

Having previously purchased a 'generic' camera case and not being that happy decided to go for the real deal, and I am so glad I did, the camera fitted into the case on the first attempt, including the strap. A nice snug fit, far better tham my last bag,which was sloppy. The case is very well made, has a lovely soft feel and is after all made for the finepix cameras. Dont waste time and money on other cases. This one is just great.

ok, a bit too snug
my camera (s1600) fits very well into this case, but perhaps a little too snug. i put the camera in the wrong way round so i can take it out easily, which also reduces space. Read more

Too Small.
The camera case is far too small for my Fujifilm Finepix S1600.
I have to cram it in the case and I struggle to zip it up.
