For first-time digital camera users and families, this model offers an impressive level of specification that includes 14 megapixel resolution, a wide range of shooting modes and Easy Web Upload to both You Tube and Facebook. The FinePix JX370 is available in black, pink and silver.
Designed for Ease of Use
The uncluttered design of the FinePix JX370 ensures ease of use straight out of the box. The 5x zoom lens (equivalent to a 28-140mm lens on a 35mm camera) sits centrally on the front of the camera ensuring it’s easy to hold with one or two hands, and the metallic-effect finish on the body of the camera adds a real sense of style.
Around the back of the camera, a 2.7 inch rear LCD makes composing and viewing images simple, plus the button layout is easy to follow with a large zoom control for effortless fine-tuning of framing. What’s more, the Fujinon optics and impressive resolutions on both models will ensure you get great results that can be printed out at sizes up to A3 without any drop in quality.
Digital Image Stabilisation uses high ISO settings and fast shutter speed to deliver blur-free photos
A Range of Modes for Still and Video
A wide range of shooting modes allow you to select specific functions according to the type of photograph you’re taking, or simply leave the choice up to the camera by selecting the SR Auto mode.
Full resolution still images can be captured at up to 1.1 frames per second, plus there’s Face, Smile and Blink Detection to ensure perfect portrait pictures, Digital Image Stabilisation to reduce the effect of camera shake, a panoramic shooting function and exposure compensations, designed to help you deal with awkward lighting conditions.
Easy Web Upload feature speeds up the process of uploading pictures to Facebook and videos to YouTube
The flash is also well specified with auto, flash on, flash off and slow synchro options, while the ISO sensitivity range extends from ISO 100 to 3200.
For those of you preferring to shoot moving images, the FinePix JX370 offers High Definition 720p video capture.
Sharing Made Simple
When you’ve taken your pictures and movies, the last thing you want to do is spend hours sat in front of your computer trying to upload the images. Buy a JX370 and your computer time is kept to a minimum thanks to the Easy Web Upload feature. Simply scroll through the images on the rear LCD, mark the ones you want to publish and once connected to your computer, the images will instantly upload via Fujifilm’s MyFinePix Studio software.
If, on the other hand, you’d like to preserve your memories in a photobook, the FinePix JX370 features Photobook Assist where you can create the book in camera and preview it by ‘turning’ the pages on the LCD screen.

I will keep this review simple and avoid technical jargon.
If you're a "serious" photographer looking to be the next David Bailey or Yann Arthus-Bertrand this "point and shoot" camera is not for you.
If you want a camera which is simple to use, takes nice clear shots for your holiday memories and nights out with friends.... This camera is great!
The menus are easy to navigate (This point is only my opinion.... Don't shoot me if you feel otherwise).
At the date of writing this review: A camera at this price point which boasts a 5x optical zoom is little short of amazing!
It also performs really nicely in dimly lit surroundings with or without using the integrated flash (such as a darkened pub/bar). Usually when you take pictures in low light levels the pictures can look grainy and stippled. This is true of all cameras, however it is less noticable with the JX370.
The HD recording is also a pretty cool bonus feature of this unit. I've had "HD recording" cameras/phones which although TECHNICALLY the footage is HD, the video is jerky and hard to watch. This camera records 720p HD video and does it well (Warning: You will need a nice BIG memory card, 32GB, if you wish to record any videos of significant length).
The only negative (and it's minor): No memory card in the box. But with the price of SDHC cards being nice and low, I DO NOT see this as a major problem (Amazon do 8GB SDHC cards for around ~£5.00 and this would allow you to take 1000+ full resolution 14 megapixel pictures.... Which in my view is LOADS). The construction of the camera is strudy, with it's metal body with plastic flaps covering the SD card / battery compartment which open and close with a nice reassuring *click*.... Read more ›

This camera does what it says on the label, and it is relatively easy to use; however I would like to have a "handbook" that I can read in my "hands" rather than have to resort to the disc in the computer, which is no good if you are miles away from your computer. I wonder if I will ever get to use the more "complex" functions...

My 6 year old daughter got this as a Christmas present as her Kiddizoom was no longer working, it is simple for her to use, the pics are great and I can download them easily for her. Takes a bit of fiddling to adjust the shutter speed and if she accidentally increase picture quality there isnt much room, but this is easily sorted.
Only downside is no inbuilt memory so you need an SD card off the bat.

Fuji cam
I just received the camera in the post, 2 days after it got dispatched, which I'm pleased with, but it comes with European power cable.. Not helpful when I live in England!

Screen went white after 4 months usage
- Pictures always had an orange tone no matter how good the lighting was.
