Product Description

Product Description

The Fuji 64 MB SmartMedia Card is a digital storage device that can be used for any digital information. Most commonly it is used in digital cameras for storage of images, though a range of other devices, such as PDAs and MP3 players also take SmartMedia cards. There are a variety of solid-state memory formats available currently, so it is important to check which format your device supports before investing in a memory card.

Fujifilm's reusable SmartMedia cards are as tiny as a postage stamp and very easy to use. SmartMedia also has the benefit of being both a durable and affordable format. SmartMedia is a solid-state storage device and therefore if kept away from strong magnetic fields, radiation sources and anything that could bend or melt the device the information will remain intact. This makes SmartMedia a very safe and compact way to archive your very important data. It can be rewritten over 250,000 times. The number of pictures that will fit on a 64 MB card will vary according to the resolution of the camera and the compression algorithms used. To offer a guide, on a sample Fuji MX2700 2.3 super megapixel digital camera you can fit 284 images in basic mode, 144 images in normal mode and 72 images in fine mode.

Perfect 19 Feb 2002
By Matt J
I recently got my self a low-end digital camera with a 4mb card. For an upgrade I decided to buy this card. Had no problems setting it up, received it with 2 days! And the number of photos I can now take is unbelievable!!! I did consider the 128mb but to be honest I don't think I need that kind of capacity. Final Verdict 10/10!

I did a smart thing. I purchased a FujiFilm 64MB SmartMedia card for my camera. Much better that the 8MB that was fitted. Now I can happily snap away and take 128 pictures without worry. This is great for those away-day excursions. I get home and download the lot; clear the SmartMedia and do it all again. I should have bought this a long time ago but I wasn't quite so smart then.
If you have an 8MB card and need more pics then swap it for FujiFilm 64MB SmartMedia. 'But it's so old' I hear you say. Yes it is but my camera doesn't know it is old! My Olympus C-2040 ZOOM works just as well it did in 2003. Well done Fujiflim and well done Olympus. I'm a happy snapper.
