I have now returned to slide film for landscape and nature photography.
Projected digital [even with the best projectors] doesn't compare with transparencies for the sheer quality of the image.
I use Simda and Leitz slide projectors, results are stunning especially using 120 slide film.

I've always loved Fuji Velvia (in 135-35mm format) and am about try it in Medium Format for the first time! - I know Fuji won't let me down! ...

No grain in a 70 MP scan, super saturated vivid colors that will burn your eyes out, great highlight and shadow detail. Actually, not much different than Velvia 100. Just lets you open lens 1 stop more for less depth-of-field.

Velvia is a luxury that can be had for less than $10 a roll, if you shoot this film next time you are out in nature shooting landscapes and scenery, you'll be blown away by the quality of your photography.
Very saturated, so it's not a good choice for people's faces. Digital doesn't come close to this.

I have used Velvia for past 10 years. This is an awesome color slide and to watch it in projector is great. i use with Nikon F80 camera. For outdoors, and landscapes/birds/flowers/butterflies etc this is tack sharp and gives very good saturated colors.
