The FinePix S3500 marks Fujifilm's entry into the semi-professional segment. The new camera in reflex camera design convinces consumers with its 4 megapixels and super zoom technology. The powerful, optical 6x zoom lens with a focal length of 38 to 234mm (as equivalent to a 35mm analogue camera) can draw even distant motifs very near. Thanks to PictBridge compatibility pictures can also be printed on the home printer without using a PC.The camera's operation is also very convincing: thus a single push of a button is sufficient to switch from LC display to the electronic viewfinder. The total of six flash programs are particularly helpful and allow optimal image results, even in dark surroundings. With fast release times and the optimized series function the photographer will hardly miss a single motif. It is not only the inner qualities that are so impressive - the elegant, silver-colored casing underlines the professional appearance of this digital camera.

    I think the S3500 is a exellent product for a minimal price. I read a reviev of one guy stating he couldnt focus indoors. I say bollocks to that. If you know the camera well, you will not have any problems. It has a auto focus function that must be used correctly.
    The pictures come out very good.
    Love the 6* optical zoom as well

    Well, I must say, opposed to another review on here - I've recently bought this camera, and opted for the 1Gb XD memory card, and I had absolutely no problem with the amount of time it takes to record the images to the card!
    I have however only taken it on holiday with me, and I'm definately not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination! - So I didn't require taking four or five shots a second!
    Admittedly it takes a few seconds after a minute of video recording, but I'm sure that's par for the course!
    Using the 1Gb card, at full resolution you can get some absolutely frightening good quality from this camera (and over 500 of them at that!) - A picture taken at full res will give a fantastic desktop for your pc because the 4 Megapixel will generate very clear pictures at 2272 x 1704 (and considering the standard desktop is 1024 x 768 nowadays - that's ample for anyone!) - And they even look good on a 32" TV using the AV cable!
    I'm yet to put a full size image from the camera onto photo paper, but if it comes out even close to how good the pictures look on a pc then I'll be a very happy man!

    If you want a cheap, extremely easy to use, QUALITY camera - then this is for you! - Don't hesitate in the slightest!
