I get my hair coloured a white blonde from a hairdresser, but of course, the lovely silvery shade does not stay that way for very long. Ugh, yellow. I used to use the 'Touch of Silver' weekly treatment, however, it made my hair feel very dry and have therefore been searching for an alternative.
I first switched to Manic Panic's 'Virgin snow' toner which worked great, however it was only available to me online, so was not ideal if I needed to buy a bottle of toner quickly. Fudge, being easier to find in hairdressers and on the high street, is a great alternative to using Manic Panic. Fudge's 'whiter shade of pale' gets rid of that horrid brassiness that blonde hair can develop, whilst leaving it fabulously soft as it conditions while it tones your hair. Also, if you leave this product on a little longer, it can leave that purple tint in your hair, which I hated with 'Touch of silver'. The purple that Fudge leaves however, is a lovely pale shade of purple that I actually really like in my white hair. My workplace is totally against 'funky' hair colours so I have now gotten away with white and purple hair with the excuse that I 'accidentally' left my toner on too long ;].
That's my story and I'm sticking to it [until I get a new job and can finally have pink hair...].
