This is one of the best AC album's going, It's funny yet the lyrics and vocals by seth are shockingly good
not like those you would hear on a normal AC album but as close to "Picnic of love" but they set the target on 80's / glam metal. I really enjoyed this album and is my favourite of 2011 so far

An aural tour-de-force 20 April 2011

An astounding example of classic hard core metal. Would make a perfect stocking stuffer Christmas gift for a favorite aunt.

Brutal! 29 April 2011
By Mark Baum - Published on Amazon.com

Ten tracks. Half-hour. It may not seem like much. But with AxCx it's more than enough.

There's less "hate" here and much more braggadocio and swagger. The music is simple. The lyrics aren't terribly deep. Think of '80s hair metal brutally bludgeoned with heavy slabs of grindcore. It just gets to the point of glam rock while curbstomping the "glam" part.

It's a great album! It may win metalheads to the deep dark side of AxCx where it goes even further past eleven. Or at least I hope that happens. Buy it!

Guarenteed to offend somebody! 5 April 2011
By steve - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This cd seems to pick up where G.G. Allin left off. Women bashing-a-plenty with some great cock-rock-punk music. I think they learned how to play their instruments this time. I almost confused this cd with the new Dream Theater. Seth's vocals still sound like Rob Halford getting ass-raped with a cheese-grator while on PCP right after he blows Chewbacca, but on this cd, you can actually make out what he's saying most of the time. This cd is definitely a lot less grind/noisecore than the previous recordings. Some great mid-paced metal that sounds a bit like Manowar trying to cover the Celtic Frost album Cold Lake while Eric Adams takes it from behind by Paul Ledney, James Blunt, and Kevin Spacey at the same time while a Rainbow cd (Graham Bonnet era) plays in the background. No songs about jews, other musicians, or other people Seth personally knows this time. These songs are all about metal, drugs, and snatch. This is the metal cd of the year!

the anticipation is over 25 Jan. 2011

i cant believe this album finaly came out it has been in the making since 2008. im beyond suprised any of these guys are even alive. thank god they are alive to bring us this masterpiece of cock rock, a new genre created by ac. this album contains some disgusting lyrics that will not dispoint. this album is offensive and it even has guitar solos. this is not the typical ac album that contains 40 songs of a min length or less, this album only contains ten songs and all stretch pass three min. i truly have been waiting for this album to come out and it did not disapoint one bit.

kick ass hairgrind 12 Aug. 2014
By Josh AxCx - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
If Seth and Josh from AC had gotten their hands on a time machine, and instead of going back in time to vote for Hitler they went back to 1983 and joined Motley Crue, this is what Shout at the Devil would've sounded like. If that doesn't make you want to buy this why are you even reading this?
