Lucy now runs a successful landscape design partnership with projects undertaken for clients worldwide and has staged award-winning gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show. She regularly contributes gardening articles to a variety of publications and was the gardening correspondent for Ideal Home magazine. She also lectures on gardening subjects.

As a beginner to growing my own fruit and vegetables I found this book an easy and enjoyable read. It is beautifully illustrated throughout and is full of practical tips and information put across in an easy to use way.

I found this book very easy to follow with each veg and fruit having it's own information about when to grown different types and how to plant etc The bit i found most useful was the table of what to grow when which helps when your starting out.
