Never huge stars in their own right, Wendy & Lisa deserve more recognition. Exhibit A: their 2nd album, Fruit At The Bottom (a not-so-subtle dig at their industry position as lesbians), a classy demonstration of great musicianship featuring several pop-funk gems. Although the production has dated, songs such as Lolly Lolly and Are You My Baby? still rock, especially in their remixed form as the bonus tracks appended in this remastered edition. Fans of 80s Prince will eat this up.
