bought this book on someone's recommendation and really glad i did.. found it brilliantly helpful, informative and easy to read. i have a three year old who is a real handful - have already put some of her tips into practise and noticed a huge difference.. i would definitely recommend this to anyone who is struggling to control a toddler (and there are a lot of us out there !)

'I started reading this book last week and couldn't put it down. Everything that Jo says makes such good sense and we are working through her routines this week and they seem to be really working. Jo understands the pressures of parenting and this book has given me more confidence to deal with my two toddlers (they have VERY strong personalities but whose dont'?) It isn't like Gina Ford, I couldn't get on with her minute-by-minute routines that go wrong because real life gets in the way but I do like the realistic routine elements in Jo's book. I also like that Jo acknowledges that parents have to look after themselves too. Very practical and very helpful. I would recommend this book.'

I was tired of taking conflicting advice from well meaning friends and family so I bought this book. I knew that I liked Jo's firm but fair approach from her shows and the book really delivers on explaining her methods & making them easy to follow. It feels good to have a clear plan in the middle of the mayhem!
