He tries to maintain his distance from the scarlet-haired faerie, but their passion cannot be denied. "Kismet" comprises of 2 fantasy erotic tales "Frost" and "Fire". Both stories follow the betrothals of a pair of fairy princesses and their introduction to the men they fall in love with.

Frost
Despite her resentment towards her arranged marriage to Garick, the Elvin King of Winterland, Noele, a Princess of the Fairies is tied by both tradition and duty and goes ahead with the wedding. She does not expect her first sight of her soon to be husband to overwhelm her but is does. Garick however does not seem so enamoured and actually plans to traditionally give his new bride to his protector, Roarke. Any children from the pair would be raised as his own and recognised as legitimate heirs to his throne. Garick is a master of his emotions, yet he suddenly finds himself dumbfounded by the vision of silvery loveliness before him and finds himself loathe to hand the beautiful fairy to his best friend. It is not however until Noele is kidnapped by evil Wizards that Garick finally admits his feelings and battles to save the life of his beloved Queen.

Fire
Solara, the flame haired sister of Noele is instantly attracted to Roarke, yet she must present herself as a virgin to her future human husband, the King of Greenbriar. Despite Roarke's honour, their passion overwhelms the pair and Solara decides to escape the castle to give herself time to consider her forthcoming unwanted nuptials. Her disappearance causes chaos, resulting in her younger sister's engagement to the King of Greenbriar instead. Yet Solara and Roarke still remain apart. Fate has decreed that all 5 of the fairy Princesses of D'Naath should marry kings and although exceedingly honourable, Roarke is only second in command in Winterland....

These 2 stories were great and I sincerely hope that Jaci Burton intends to continue with this series and publish further stories on the 3 remaining unwed princesses. The wayward and troublesome Trista (the sister accidentally betrothed to the King of Greenbriar) certainly warrants her own story. Her magical appearance, unconscious allure and broadminded attitude to sex will surely stir things up in the Human realm. After checking out JB's website I am disappointed to discover that no future publication dates or further details of the Kismet series are available. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Read more ›

Ms. Burton will take the reader on a trip to the worlds of the fairies and elves with this two story read.

This book contains two stories about two sisters that are princess' to the fairy world. One must marry the King of the elves and the other finds forbidden love with his captain of the guard. It's forbidden because she is promised to another and honor will not allow them to consumate their passion. Or will circumstances change and true love and passion be theirs?

Both stories are short but well-fleshed out. In other words there is more substance than sex scenes. This is not to say that this read is not steamy...it is but, it's not used as filler. The characters are dynamic and Ms. Burton has aptly demonstrated with this read that she has quite the imagination. Step into her mystic world for a short while. You won't be sorry.

First Story

This is a nice story with Noele and Garick. I'm not into the fiery or elves romance but this was a good read for me I know Jaci Burton is a good author and still wasn't sure what to expect but i liked it can't wait to read the other sisters. thumbs up on the sex.

Second story

Now I gave this book 5 stars because even though the first sister's story Noele i gave 4 stars I think Solara & Roarke's story was so romantic it sounds cheesy but they both felt love for each other but Solara was promise to another and no matter how hard they fight those feelings love won over. It was a good book to read and in the end what Garick did for him was truly deserving. So in all good read get the book I'm off to read the third book in the series.
Please note both books are sold separately as well.

You can't go wrong with a Jaci Burton book! Kismet F & F is a great series that will leave you panting for the third installment! These first two books in the Kismet series are very HOT and will not disapoint any reader!
