Product Description

In this alternate history novel, what-if Ronald Reagan became President in 1976 instead and the Space Race turned out differently? He pledges to support NASA with the moon landings, and declares that a moon base would be established by 1979, followed by a Mars Base by 1989. The Soviets decide to up the ante by building something bigger.

The rest of Earth follows the original timeline, so terrorism rears its ugly head, which will forever change American politics. Iran and its attempt at taking hostages is taken care of in 1979, but a new threat emerges because of it. The new President of the United States has to pursue these enemies of the U.S. to secure America's future. We follow America's progress from Moon to Mars, along with the Teacher in Space Program, to an eventual starship mission out of the solar system, which will continue in book two, which is called Final Frontier.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS 24 Feb 2013

I am sorry to give such a review, but this is beyond a joke. I know it will cost money but Amazon should install some quality control over the books it sells. This was just awful, I probably read between 30 -50 books a year, I have battled my way through some dogs in the hope that I may be surprised. I gave up on this one on page 3, it actually caused me physical pain in my head to read it. Selling this stuff is verging on fraud.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Read 27 Mar 2012
By Louis Thompson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I enjoyed reading New Frontier since it was an easy read and easy to follow. There is no real character development. There are some rather intriguing parts. The ending definitely makes you want to read what is coming up next. I also liked the prologue. It was the most interesting prologue I have ever read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Danger Will Robinson! 19 Jan 2012
By Jeff - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This reads like a talented 5th grader with an interest in political history and star trek decided to write a serious alternate history. This starts in the 1960's and has interstellar ion drive by the 90's because of how Marilyn Monroe died. Illogical leaps of cause and effect render this a waste of time. If it was a fun read, I could allow for some dumb stuff, but it's not even mildly interesting. The story has near zero character development.
I do not like writing negative reviews but as this has a 4 star rating(only one review), I felt I should warn others as I would have wished others had warned me.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly written 26 Feb 2013

Honestly, I have seen better writing from high school children. The book has little or no character development and juvenile plots.
