Good stuff! I make my own "syrup" just like my mother did when I was little. Now, I find that real maple syrup is too expensive, and the texture of the corn syrup products makes me gag.
Bring 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and add 1/4 teaspoon flavoring. It's a little thinner than the real stuff, and much thinner than that Aunt Jemima stuff, but it's still great.
It's a glass bottle, but they packed it in a ton of bubble wrap, so no issues there.
