I have not ready many books on the market which are as comprehensive as this. The structure is such that you don't need to read cover to cover and can begin designing practical web pages very early. Yet it is so comprehensive that you could design a very professional website.
If one appreciates how many useful facilities are incorporated into frontpage then you can see the knowledge and effort of the author upon a cursory reading. For example, monitoring very detailed info on how many people are using site (including hit counters, searches, operating systems users are using etc including graphing this info), using themes to make formatting easier and te, managing and organising large websites, Using Forms, Databases, discussion forums - plus for those who want to go the extra mile scripting is touched on using ASP, VB Script and CGI although these are areas in their own right which have dedicated material.
In summary, as a result of this book I am going to set up several websites - some personal, some business related. I would definitely pay 5 times as much to buy this book!. NB knowledge, experience and ability to teach don't often fall hand in hand but in this book they do - also see chapter on Planning and Organising Front Page website - where the author disseminates his practical experience on how to make a website popular and achieve its purpose.
