5.0 out of 5 stars Good up-to-date guide for 2011 7 Sep 2011
By EMB
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a recently revised guide to Sweden so you can be confident that the information is up to date. It is like most of the Frommer's guides - well organised and set out with plenty of suggestions and advice. I sometimes prefer Frommer to Lonely Planet and/or the Rough Guides which seem to dominate the market for travel guides. With Frommer, you don't have to pretend that you're not a tourist and enjoy comfort and want to buy souvenirs.

3.0 out of 5 stars Its very much an american guide 6 Dec 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
That may be obvious but it rankled for us as we are british, it assumes you are american descendants from swedish forefathers. I wanted a guide that covered all of southern sweden and this included some places that others available to me at the time did not. However i found when i got there i could not correlate the book with the reality, but okay on others.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good resource in ebook format 9 Dec 2012
By cgpetroski - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I had this book on my Kindle Fire during a trip to Sweden and Norway during the fall of 2012. I found it especially useful because of the searchability of an e-book. It worked very well and I found the information accurate in all cases where I had a chance to test it.
