I think that of all the Hawaii-related travel books out there, this one is the best because it is full of pertinent information without getting to involved. It is perfect if you are planning your vacation to include children. It gives you everything from choosing family-friendly accommodations and dining to planning events everyone in the entire family with love. I am very happy that I chose this book.

Looks like the authors copied and pasted the general guide and added a few kid-specific tips here and there. Would be a waste of money if you'd already looked at a Frommer's Hawaii.

This book covers all the islands, so there's actually little content about each if you're staying in one or two at a time. The content is pretty dull. No pictures. The focus on family activity is there but it's mostly listing the tourist traps with no little to no critical review. We also find some information to be inaccurate despite the book fairly fairly recent. I ended up relying on my good old Maui Revealed!
