About the Author
Since her first venture into La Baja more than twenty years ago—two late–night hours in Tijuana, with predictable consequences— Valerie Hamilton has refined her travel tastes considerably. Down the peninsula and through the years, she’s traded tequila shots for chocolata clams and that wet t–shirt for a full wetsuit, but she still hasn’t found anything that beats a great fish taco. This edition seems to hit all the high points, which is helpful for someone on a limited time vacation. Good restaurant tips, and pointers to out-of-the-way spots that show a true insider's knowledge of this beautiful part of the world. Highly recommended!

I read this before going on a week vacation to the East Cape. We used it for tips on beaches to visit in Cabo, and places to eat and shop in Los Cabos. I also enjoyed the history section at the beginning. I cannot speak for the accuracy of the north/central baja sections, since we did not visit that region.

Seems to have most of the information I was looking for (not needing a hotel). It's very light so easy to take with on trip. Only wish is had better maps. More detailed maps of the area (on inside cover perhaps or a pull out) would have been nice. Still for the price, it's convenient and helpful
