This is a very good and nice guide. We followed some of the walk tours and visited most of the attractions there. We also went to the cafes stated. If this guide could be improved, I should include some photograhs.

We found this guide very useful. It has lots of information about hotels, restaurants, and places to visit. Not 100% accurate on restaurants, but no guide can be, given changes in management, etc. It's in black and white though, so if you want color pictures of everything you'll have to look elsewhere. We actually used it a lot in Barcelona, which is a great city to visit, by the way.

I haven't purchased many travel guides so I visited a highstreet store to browse a few and then purchase from Amazon. I spotted Frommer's 2008 guide to Barca and it impressed me so I decided to buy the 2009 edition from Amazon. The 2 editions are quite different however. The 2009 edition is not in colour (all blacka nd 2 shades of burgundy)and there is a lack of detailed maps with street names.
It is not a bad guide by any means and the content is really useful when it comes to choosing what to see / do or where to dine.
