4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little story. 26 Mar 2013

The flow was good. Clearly defined characters and plot. It was pretty good. I would recommend it to a few people. The author didn't fill pages with useless dialogue or over explained thoughts. Just a nice short story.

I loved reading this book even through it was short. I had me on the edge of my seat. I was just like I was watching a horrow movie. I read this book and night after my kids went to bed and I swear I heard the same noise that was in the book lol. This is a must read book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Renters beware! 18 Jun 2013

I don't read thrillers very often, but I'd found myself in the mood for one when I downloaded this. Let me tell you front and center, I have a very vivid imagination, and I was reading this around 2 am, on a weeknight, with the lamp on the lowest setting. This writer did a great job, because I can now see a dent in the ceiling over the bed, where I jumped a mile high when the main character stupidly climbs into the attic. Kudos, Harmon. Kudos. My landlord has banned me from reading anymore of your books, though. ;)

I really enjoyed this short story! It's usually hit or miss with the free books on here, but this one is definitely a hit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pandora's box? 19 Jun 2012

This is a good story. There is plenty of suspense and enough action to go around. I don't want to give anything away, so I can't say anything really about the storyline. The characters are well drawn and narrative descriptions are good. There is only one typo, so it is good in that regard. It is a quick read. The ending left me with one question....What was the thing locked in the box?
