After waiting for years for new material from Fields of the Nephilim, it was a monumental disappointment to hear this - a stunted track that doesn't go anywhere, lyrically inept compared to McCoy's earlier work, and fearsomely repetitive. To add insult to injury, the b-sides appear to be live tracks from the ancient concert video 'Forever Remain'. Oddly, only Carl McCoy and Tony Pettit appear to be involved with this release - where's the rest of the band?
Sadly, if you're expecting material of the calibre of Power, Preacher Man, Blue Water, Moonchild, Psychonaut, For Her Light or Sumerland, you'll be gutted. This doesn't deserve to share the same CD rack.
