This book is an excellent showcase for Cornwall. It blends photography with reflections from various authors and poets. The photographs themselves of of a good standard, and show a mixture of costal and inland scenes, although the former predominate as might be expected. If you are a regular visitor, the book will appeal as a reminder and guide to places you may have, or intend to see. If you are an exile from Cornwall, then the book is a good keepsake as a memoire of the old place. Recommended.

Bought as a present but wanted to look before sending abroad. Picture book with literary quotations -very general but interesting to flick through. Was sent to S.E. Asia to family working there who love Cornwall so think it was appreciated. Liked that the photographs did not resemble picture postcards and captured all kinds of environment and weather. A general book on Cornwall that captured the spirit of the place.
