Our favorite California punk outfit is back with this kick-ass return to raw and aggressive form. I've been listenin' to the 'Wise' for the last seven years, and although they've produced a steady stream of albums i've found that the later ones seem to be missin' something.

Every Pennywise album kicks ass in its own way, but the most recent releases such as 'Land of the Free' and 'Straight Ahead' seem to hint that the band needed to move on, from J.M.Thirsk and old-style Pennywisdom, into a new and more aggressive state of play.

'From the Ashes' has completely blown my mind, it's the fastest most kick-ass piece of furious angst in ages. Even sat here in my suit at work i've got my teeth gritted together even thinking about the way this album sounds.

I promise to you with all my heart and shaking fist that 'From the Ashes' will have you feelin' the same way to. Know why?

It's coz Pennywise Fcukin' RULE dude

The new album from pennywise released sept 9th!!

I have managed to hear this album before it has been released and it is easily as good as any other PW album with all of the songs being full of energy and raw power!!!

there is alot of key tracks on this cd such as God save the USA, Somthing To Change, waiting and Punch Drunk to name a few!! but every song on the cd just makes you want to listen to it over and over agen!
if you are a pennywise fan i heavily suggest that you buy this album as soon as possible or download some of the free tracks on the pennywise website atleast

One of their best albums of late, no B/S Punk Rock. Highlights for me are God Save The USA, Waiting & Judgment Day. If you're a fan of Pennywise you'll love it.

Pennywise - From The Ashes

This album was excellent and the DVD was very funny, showing the making of the album, its significance and also some home videos of the band, which strongly reminded me of Jackass. Read more

i have all the pennywise albums,and after half a dozen listens songs were jumpin out at me,apart from this one?i am not slagging it off,just saying am i expecting to much. Read more
