This was the first book which I got, when starting up in the hobby. It was a great help, in setting up my tank for green treefrogs, clearly presenting relevent information and easy to understand, particularly as I was a young beginner at the time.The book provides plenty of information on caging, food, habitat, background information and health problems/treatments. The book also provides an extensive range of descriptions of different species, along with colour photos and drawings. I have found this book continually useful,in keeping my pets and would recommend it to anyone who is just starting up in the hobby; or who wants more information on keeping their existing pets. This is a good all round book.

This is a very useful book for newbies to keeping frogs and toads. The Bartletts have many years of experience to share and the book covers all the main species. Great pictures too.

Highly, highly recommended.
Complete novice, first time toad owner.
This book was so easy to read & follow, full of useful information. I read it cover to cover before we became proud owners of our little "colony". My toad "bible".
