Frog the Dog and the Broken Bone is by far the best addition to the Frog the Dog series. The game of snakes and ladders in the back is lively and colourful and my children really enjoyed cutting out the frog counters and playing the game. The pictures are bright and imaginative and the children love reading about Frog's adventures.
I thoroughly recommend this book to all children (and adults too!)

I thought that this book was a fun book for children to read in any circumstances but especially if you need them to go to the doctor or dentist. It would be perfect to use to convince a child that there really is no need to be scared.

I thought the character Max was very sweet, a big friendly giant infact. The story also has a strong message about listening to what your mother tells you! Could be an advantage and just the right message you want your children to read!

Highly recommended.

I recently bought this books for my six year old cousin and her parents tell me she read it all by herself. I think Helen Mc Glasson's books, especially The Broken Bone, are perfect for children with pets. They relate to the characters which motivates them to actually make time for reading!
