I used to get perfect rice in a pan or microwave but in the last 2 years I have had real problems with it being stodgy nomatter what I tried. A friend recommended a rice cooker and so I bought this one. I have not looked back, I now get perfection every time. This is now used 2-3 times a week and even took it on a self catering holiday! I have done quantities from 1 person to group amounts for bbqs. Highly recommend this item, dishwasher safe bowl, lid etc. If I ever wear this one out in the future, I would buy this same one again.

This product is really good, stong and resiliant, can't tell you about longevity yet but cooks rice really well. The non-stick pan is fine if you spread a little oil round it the first few times you use it. Cooks the rice pretty swiftly with the minimum of fuss.

Buy cheap, buy twice...
Not bad once you get used to it, but don't expect this to be a timesaver in the kitchen. The time you save cooking will be spent cleaning the cheap and nasty aluminium bowl. Read more

GOOD TO FEED 4 or MORE!
Too big for 4 or less people!

can do better

Cheap but does the job
Hate making rice. Well this is for you. Easy to use and makes perfect rice every time.Does what it says. Light weight and detatchable bowl which goes in the dishwasher.
