"My best friend is a vampire" - well, "Fright night" or "Vamp" can sleep soundly in their movie coffins, hehe. This one is more subtle, teen comedy orientated, like say - vampire answer to "Teen Wolf". Mostly for nostalgic fans of 80's, because of lack of real good jokes or special effects here. Even David Warner as Van Helsing-type doesn't help much.
"Repossessed" - good, but not great spoof of (arguably) most popular horror movie ever. Poor Linda Blair vomits peas again, supported by another actor appearing in original franchise - Ned Beatty. But the star here is late Leslie Nielsen, uncrowned king of spoof comedies. This one is rather tounge-in-cheek, very undemanding, but good for few laughs.
"Slaughter High" - good slasher, marred by suicidal death of it's main star, Simon Scuddamore (Marty). Yet, how they tried to fool us by pretending that well-over-30 then Caroline Munro is also a teenager? Nevermind. Well done revenge flick.
"Silent night deadly night III: Better watch out!" - better switch it off, rather. Bore and chore, inept, build on and absurd idea. Only for die-hard fans of this series (are they any?).
