Yet another in the "Friendly [Rip-Off] Computer Books" set. 12 May 1996
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This book compares with Nimersheim _Excel 5.0 for Windows_in the same series of supposedly basic information, pocket-sized books. Among the omissions in this one: how to mail merge, print envelopes, add graphics or tables. Since, for example, there is no way to make parallel columns in Word without a table, these are serious omissions. I use Word; it is installed on my home computer. When I go out to a client, I don't want to lug heavy manuals with me. So I buy these little after-market books. Take my word for it: you'll be better off with anothor choice even at $10-12 rather than $7.
