5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant, 4 April 2008
This review is from: Eco Friendly Home, Living the Natural Life (Paperback)
At last a book that gives you sensible advice about what you can actually do to help live in a more 'eco-friendly' way. The only thing we hear from politicians etc is to use long life light bulbs, and re-cycle more.........this does mention long life light bulbs, but loads of other stuff that I can do around the house too. I would recommend this book if you are concerned about the environment, but are also a bit confused about what you can do to make a difference.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, stylish and meaningful, 22 April 2008

I heard a buzz about this book and got it as soon as it came out. I was not disappointed. Beautifully illustrated, sound advice, well written and rather than making you feel as if all is lost with the world, it made me get up and make some simple changes to my house that were meaningful. Highly recommended

1.0 out of 5 stars I wish I hadn't bought this book, 21 Oct 2009

I thought it was superficial and rather boring. This is mostly just a decorating style book with a 'green' theme. Some of the advice is really laughable e.g. "If you generate only a small amount of dirty dishes, it is more ecological and economical to wash dishes by hand."
