Virtually useless as a reference tool, even for the basics. 13 May 1996
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
The author seems to feel he can take your 7 bucks withoutgiving value in return. Excel is installed on my homecomputer but when I go to a client's place to work, I don't like to haul massive manuals with me, so I buy these kinds of after-market books. This one "pretends" to cover the basics; believe me, any book which doesn't tell you how to SORT a spreadsheet is not covering the basics. And this is just one example of the many omissions. Spend an extra 5 bucks and get one of the other handy, pocket-sized guides, not this "friendly" rip-off.
