I saw this recommended by someone I follow on Twitter.Being a fairly disorganised freelancer I thought this may be a good buy. I wasn't disappointed.

By the time I was half way through the book I had lots of ideas, some of which I have already implemented. This guy knows what he is talking about and understands the lone freelancer - many books are great for bigger businesses but not many are relevant to those working alone.

If you are a Freelancer or even thinking about Freelancing you need to read this book! 3 Nov. 2012
By Neal J Sivula - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Mr. Mahnke has done an outstanding job defining areas of friction and suggesting solutions for removing friction for Freelancers. The book is organized around four types of friction as it relates to the Freelancer- Productivity friction, Client friction, Financial friction, and Personal friction.

The book is well written, easy to understand, and contains a wealth of knowledge based on Mr. Mahnke's experience as a Freelancer. His suggestions for removing friction are practical yet powerful. I think that it is an essential read for those considering Freelancing, but it also has tremendous value for those already Freelancing.

I wish I had this when I began my freelancing career 12 Dec. 2012
By David Wang - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Aaron provides an organized system for every aspect of a freelancers life, based on his many years of successful freelancing. He covers important points including finding and keeping clients, contracts and invoicing, and also goes into less obvious but equally important supporting points like organizing your work space, staying physically and mentally fit. It's not the most comprehensive book ever written on the topic of freelancing, but it's a really good resource for any self-employed freelancer. And I'm saying this as someone who has been successfully self-employed for 5 years now! Buy the book!

Great Tips for Getting More Done 26 April 2013
By Chris Stocker - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
As somebody who has tested many different methods of productivity and time management in my freelance career, this book makes it very simple and easy to understand. I have gone through the GTD book and I felt like I had more friction than when I started. I highly recommend this book to any freelancer who is feeling overwhelmed with work, finances, and working from home.

Friendly, approachable, and wise 9 Feb. 2013
By Rick - Published on Amazon.com

Frictionless Freelancing feels like a fireside chat about work. Aaron brings years of experience to the table, along with very clearly explained and easy to implement suggestions, many of which I've immediately brought into my own practice. I'm grateful I found this book, and I suggest it to anyone who has made the decision to embark on their own freelance journey.
