I found this book very informative & helpful in learning the Cockney dialect. It provides the slang terminology along w/ detailed explainations of the meanings of each term. You will still need a CD to actually hear the accent, but this book provides just about all the words & expressions you'll need to speak authentic Cockney fluently enough.
