I loved the author's style right from the start; the opening address set the tone for a quality of human warmth and simplicity which is all too rare. The reader is invited to discover the place where despite life's trials, "freedom, compassion and truth wait to welcome us home." This is the invitation and the author does not disappoint. Her words are direct and simple but never simplistic. She addresses the reader as if she were just sitting across the room. "You've no doubt noticed that we live in chaotic yet amazingly potent times. .......Its hard not to notice that everything today is as volatile as boiling water." This is not an uncommon theme today but unlike so many doom and gloom merchants, the author never drops into fatalism or is carried away by the all too familiar Ascension scenario. Her message is reassuringly human and convincing without being strident. "We're becoming increasingly aware of internal and external energy, its qualities, and the principle by which it functions, frequency, vibration, resonance waves, oscillation, cycles, waves, and spectrum. ...... these concepts are at the heart of the newest techniques for knowing, doing and having everything."
The book offers a practical journey into the world of frequency without adopting the vocabulary of the New Age cliché - quite an achievement! Instead the author writes with a deep sense of humanity and focuses on the innate potential within everyone. I liked her particular vocabulary; the Intuition Age, Home Frequency, Conscious Sensitivity, these terms are not just empty slogans but carry practical and profound meaning which the book explores. Her emphasis is always on feelings, not on metaphysical speculation or grand theological schemas. This mode of being belongs to everyone and the author suggests that feelings, which we normally associate purely with emotions, are instead the path to a direct knowing."Truly, it is our most normal way of knowing." For the author our feelings are more like vibrational antenna constantly retuning to various frequencies."I want to help you understand this semi-invisible process you're being influenced by and help you move through phases of fluidity. I want to give you techniques to change blocked emotions into exquisite sensitivity so that you can decipher the messages contained in the myriad of vibrational states." This is what the author sets out to do through the exercises, ideas and processes that she invites you to participate in. It is clear that that these ideas and practices are the result of a long personal experience, distilled from her work. This book points you in the direction of your own power by tapping into what we have inside us and how to utilise it. Penney beautifully describes how you can, by simply changing your thoughts and attitude change everything in your own world which, is not new but - it puts it into a language that everyone can relate to and indeed should pay great attention to.
Its an amazing piece of work

This is a really amazing book. If you are living the shift described by the author of Frequency, you will have to stop reading from time to time .... because the words hit you in your core. This book is a great help on my journey. The only thing that could block you in reading this book is your mind not-being open for the way the world is shifting nowadays.
