Product Description

A single flexible rod,  19" in length with a long cord & 1 Feather attachment.

The rod comes coiled, simply uncoil to use & store at full length away from heat and your cat.

The real feather refill is made with two pheasant flight feathers & Turkey Marabou feathers. Flight feathers are from free roaming UK birds living a natural life before entering the UK food chain.

Also all Da Bird cat toy refills can be clipped on.

PLAY THERAPY -With The Flying Frenzy, fly the feather around in random sweeping movements like a bird in real flight. Your cat's attention will be completely focused. Talk to the cat with a light happy voice. During the flight, land or swoop the feather end close to your cat, they will be waiting for the right moment to catch their prey!  When caught, play dead, take the chance to get away when the cat releases their grip! Repeating this routine will entertain and exhaust your cat.
You can use some feathers for the kill, then a cat treat. This completes the cats' natural cycle of hunt-catch-kill-eat.
Used regularly, This toy as play therapy can help with shy/ nervous cats, different kinds of behaviours and aid weight loss.

SAFETY !! Cat teaser/Interactive toys are NOT chew toys.
Cat Interactive & Teaser Toys satisfy your cat's natural hunt & chase instinct. They are designed only for human supervised interaction with your cat(s) to encourage cats to play and exercise.
All the interactive toys should be put away when the play sessions are over. They should never be left with your cat to chew or destroy (as s/he would actual live prey) or left in a place where your cat can reach them without your participation. This is to protect your cat from injury and to make sure that the toys keep their strong appeal.

Oh my Gosh!

I've given this toy a five star rating as it has eclipsed the expectations of both myself, and I believe my cats.

I foster cats, so we have quite a lot of them. I've had to shut the cats into four differenct rooms and play within each room individually otherwise there's no room for them to play with the toy.

I love this toy because every single one of my cats have played with it... repeatedly. Not only that but since I've had this toy and been playing with it every day, all but two of my ferals have come out and joined in. You don't know just how HUGE that is. Not only that but my latest two ferals, whilst they haven't come out to play with it, have actually emerged from their day time hidey holes and are now sleeping in the cat room in different spots where not only can they see us, but we can see them - so this has been a huge break through for us.

But wait, there's more *chuckle* seriously though, no more being woken up by a stampede of cats playing at two in the morning! Seriously.

I'm glad I bought extra feathers, as for the first day I bought it out (I put it away in a safe place when finished each day), I just couldn't bear to take it off them, so I removed the feather part from the wand and string section and just let them share in batting around the feathered toy.

I would recommend this toy to anyone that has a cat of any age and any description (yes, I also have two 'ancients' and they both love it too.) this toy is tough through and through and will last me a long time.

Thank you to, to the Purrs for You for your back up sales and support. You rock.

'Take time to read the booklet before rushing off to play' was the advice in the accompanying booklet. Not a chance! As soon as the rod 'boinged' out of the packaging, my kitten was into a frenzy of excited delight and he spent the whole morning dancing, prancing, stalking and 'killing'. He totally wore himself out and is now in a deep sleep, probably dreaming of his next session with his 'Flying Frenzy'.
Amazingly, having ordered early one afternoon, the product was with me in the following post. Absolutely excellent service that I cannot fault.
If I have one tiny grouse it is that the knots on the string need to be a little more cunning (ask a fisherman knot expert maybe) for the best knot that will stop the string untying every so often. I've devised my own sort of clove, half hitch, reef, granny knot that seems to be holding for now!

I and my cat both love Flying Frenzy. I had a cheap ripoff version which she adored, so when it expired I decided to upgrade to FF. My knockoff version had a long 2-part rod and it was a bit hairy in our small bedroom, so I opted for the shorter FF rod thinking it would be better. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. It doesn't seem to offer as good a range of movement, and the cat was really excited by the improved noise and fluttering compared to the old toy, so she blindly jumped in to me pretty heavily in her excitement several times. We botched a longer rod using part of our old toy, the new rod, and some tape, but it's shoddy so I've just ordered the 39" FF rod (and a load of feather refills)...she's going to be so happy...The toy itself is amazing. The best toy I have ever seen for a cat. Even the ripoff had our cat entranced for 2+ hours the first time she saw it. This is twice as good if not better and the cat still begs to play with it over two months after we first bought one. If you don't have one, buy the 39". 98% chance your cat will love it.

I would recommend this toy for anyone who has a cat. My kitties love it and can't seem to get enough play time. They love the jerky movements as it simulates prey, and go crazy chasing it.

This is by far my cat's favourite toy (and we quite like it too) ! It has provided hours of fun for our active youngster. We are now on a refill feathers attachment but that says more about the amount of use and the determination of our little chap to 'kill that thing' than it does about the quality, although I can imagine if you had several cats all playing with it you would have to replace the attachments a lot. Just watching our boy back flip around the room means this gets a big thumbs up from us.

I've bought 3 frenzy toys for different cats. They all go nuts when they see the toy, they absolutely love it. The toy itself is really well-built, not flimsy and looks like it'll be a while until it falls apart after the clawing attacks it suffers. A+ product!

i have a 7 year old siamese boy and a 2 year old birman girl both of whom have a tendency to be overweight. my vet recommended exercise for fatboy but how do you convince a siamese who prefers his daily routine of eat-poop-wash-sleep-cuddle mom-drinkies-eat-poop-wash-sleep etc that exercise is in his best interest? the answer? the flying frenzy!! fatboy was apprehensive at first while the bundle of fluff went mental, jumping up to 3 ft in the air and zooming around my flat like a mad thing. mind you once fatboy got the hang of it he joined in with a vengeance. over the years i have literally spent hundreds of pounds on so-called 'interactive' cat toys which have been given a cursory once over then studiously ignored with that look that says "you seriously want me to play with that??" i can honestly say that this is the only one that has been worth the money and the choice of attachments is great. make sure you get your feline a kittycopter (same company) to give it the sense of having caught its prey when playtime's over. i must order a new one they have theirs wrecked but its just so nice to see them actually play with something i wouldn't mind buying a new one every week. i honestly cannot think of one negative point or drawback and if i could i'd give it 10 stars lol. a must have for all cat lovers.
