This is both fun and educational. We go to France often so thought this would be a useful tool for the kids to learn some basic words and it has worked like a treat! They enjoy watching it and ask to see it frequently and are learning at the same time. The animation is simple and effective for pre-school but older kids/siblings may benefit depending on language exposure. With so much emphasis being placed on learning languages from such a young age - this set is a MUST buy and the cost saving for buying a double set are better than buying 2 single DVDs. Great characters as well to keep kids engaged and the songs are a nice touch! Look forward to more levels.

This is a great DVD set. My son is learning French and this is fantastic for him, would tell anyone looking to learn a second language about this DVD in a heartbeat......great price

I have a 2 & a half year old toddler who is bilingual already (English and Italian) and I wanted to expose her to a third language as well. I read about this DVD series in a school magazine and thought I would give it a try and its is proving to be very popular with her and she has picked up many words so quickly in French and some new ones in English as well that she did not know.
She loves the characters, songs and animation - simple and appropriate for a young child. I like the fact it uses repetition in it under different scenarios - but at this age group you do need to say things several times!
I am certainly going to order some other dvds from the same series as well. Highly recommend this product to anybody who is looking for a quality dvd that teaches a foreign language.
