About the Author
Kaari Meng is a world-renowned purveyor of French living. She runs a business selling vintage and new merchandise such as textiles, laundry products, home decor accessories, jewelry, stationery, notions, jewelry, and more that are sold online at www.frenchgeneral.com and in stores throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan. French General also offers services including custom upholstery, interior consulting, and period decorating. Kaari's home and shop have been featured in magazines such as Oprah, Martha Stewart Living, Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion, Country Living, and Romantic Homes. She has also designed jewelry for companies such as Anthropologie and sold her jewelry to specialty shops around the world. In 2005, Kaari was invited by Hallmark to be a keynote speaker on color and style trends. She lives with her husband and daughter in southern California. This is her first book with Chronicle.

If you like the look of the cover of this book you'll love these labels. I also have the writing paper, which is SOOO BEAUTIFULL. They look almost vintage, and some people don't seem to understand the old fashioned elegance of this brand. Though the subtle off white colours and understated colour schemes is what makes this product so much better than the kath kidson version (which I also have). If you love the over-the-top vibrant colours and clashing patterns of kath kidson products and can't apreciate subtle elegance then your on the wrong page. Though this brand of stationary is the sort that takes my breath away with its beauty. (I know this is weird).
These labels have a few varied designs though many are offered in different colour tones for those moments when you think "OH! That patterns perfect but not in that colour". As well as having doubles at the back. So if your like me in the way you worry if you use your favorite one then a perfect oportunity to use it will come up later. Then your in luck, there's 2.

These labels are beautiful. They're inspired by vintage french patterns and prints. They add an extra special touch to all kinds of things... like glass jars, plain text books/journals, wrapping presents... the list is endless really.

You will love these and they will make your home made jam, jelly and chutney look stunning - only draw back is that they are not huge in size so nice neat small writing required!
