Here is a decent, wonderful, educated and knowledgable man who was born in 1940 during the war in the Germany which later became the "DDR", German Democratic Republic or East Germany for most. He always knew what was right and put out many efforts for the unification of Germany. He was denied the education he would have chosen as a teenager by the system but went as far as he was allowed, became a theologian and community organizer. He is now the "Bundespraesident" of Germany, that is the official representative of the Federal Republic of Germany. He has none of the arrogance and corruption that we now naturally link to "politicians". Would that all of them were like him!
The booklet is a true explanation of "freedom", it is a pleading. The book is in German of course.
