Format:Audio CD
To get straight to the point, a beautiful aspect of this song is it's vocals, shame as they do get lost somewhere in mix, and to a certain extent are masked by sound effects. Musically it is very, very different, but isn't that the intention with a remix? To repeat the same song again is a pointless exercise. Virtually all the instrumentation is changed, along with the tune as well! Musically it's unrecogniseable as FREELOVE - shame 'cos it's such a good song in the first place - if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I bought this, the "alternative" single for the best song in DM's latest album (IMO), but found it less than exciting. Freelove is a great song with fantastic vocals, but they get lost in the mixes. The Bertrand Burgalat version (track 1) I found particularly bad - a musical disaster. The others are simply uninspiring.
If you don't have the album and like the song - go for the "normal" version of the CD single.
