I already have three Freecom drives: a 500Gb and two 1Tb. Like the other three, the 2Tb drive worked perfectly straight out of the box. The drive is silent, reasonably fast and in its sexy rubber shroud looks (and feels great). Only reservations are the absence of an ON/OFF switch and indicator light and the shortness of the connector lead. Recommended.

Having owned 3 hard drives over the last 5 years, I must say this is the best thus far. It is a silent operator & has the ability to stay cool during periods of extensive use. I purchased a 2TB drive so I could share with my partner. Splitting the drive was very easy.
I highly recommend this Freecom drive & currently have no complaints.
