I wanted a really big phone and the freelander is great for that purpose. I am in the US and a T-mobile Sim card works fine. Once in awhile it seems it seems to lose the cellular connection. It has to be rebooted when that happens. I have no idea if that is normal for cellular products or not because this is my first phone.

The tablet is nice and light. Lighter than a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7. It feels like it has a plastic coating which some find cheap. I don't have any problems with the build quality of it.

All of the functions seem to work. The Bluetooth connected to a keyboard. The wireless connects with no problem. I laughed when I found out it has an FM radio in it and it really works! It is a small thing but great to have available. The tablet connects to the Google play store and downloads apps with no problems. The GPS seems to work fine. It took forever to work initially so don't worry if it does not work right away. When I say "forever" I seriously mean maybe 10 or 15 minutes! After the initial start up the GPS seems to work quickly now. I have not used the HDMI out so I don't know if that works or not. There have been no problems connecting via USB to a computer and downloading files. Earphones were plugged in and they worked.

The tablet does have a few flaws.

(1) - The screen IS NOT a 180 degree viewable screen. If I tilt it maybe 60 degrees the colors will start to change. I don't care too much because honestly the only reason not to hold the screen straight in front of yourself is laziness. I use the tablet constantly as a book reader and the screen never bothers me unless my hand gets tired and starts letting the tablet move.

(2) - The tablet eats up the battery.

Absolutely valid product for the price. I bougth it because i wanted a cheap GPS navigator and it turn out to be a very nice gadget.
The loudspeakers play very low but anyway i normaly use headphone so for me is not a big deal. I wont recommended for heavy use because of the battery life is not great still it can be a good backup phone and an excellent wi/fi device. I tried the skype video calling and the camera gives a very nice picture to the recever.
I will say a good buy and the coffee color gives it a very smart looking.

Unfortunately I have had to revise my review of this product. I gave it a pretty good review when I bought it, but after just a little more than a year, the battery will not hold a charge. As soon as it says charged and it's unplugged, the battery percentage meter falls immediately, and it will not stay running after five minutes of use. The only way to use the tablet is to keep it plugged in, which totally defeats the purpose. I suppose you get what you pay for. It served its purpose for a year, but that really isn't long enough. The battery can't be swapped out, so now it will become a paperweight. I would not recommend buying this. You can get better quality and better specs in a Nexus 7 or an Asus Memo 7 for pretty much the same amount of money these days.

Combination of GPS, 3g (when sim added - extra purchase), Kindle App, WIFI etc. makes this versatile and effective and at proce good value. Arrived on time etc. No snags so far; some odd chinese language apps/favourites pre installed but easy to sort out.

These Chinese tablets are getting better. This one, loaded with a few key apps and fitted with a bluetooth keyboard/cover, is perfect for travelling. I use a variety of local SIMs and between these and local wifi I can get/do everything my iPad can do and more without the worry that losing or breaking it will be an expensive hassle.
