5.0 out of 5 stars Fred at his Best 4 Aug 2008
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Not much to say, other than if you like Fred Dibnah you will love these DVD's. It is truly amazing how much this guy knew on all aspects of Engineering and Building.
Wonderful programmes for kids to learn about the industrial revolution and Britains heritage buildings.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fred Dibnah, sorely missed 30 Dec 2013
By John
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I prefer his programmes about pure engineering, traction engines, steam etc of bygone years, rather than design of ancient buildings. However his take on such buildings from a Mechanical Engineer's viewpoint is very interesting, Would it be that he had some input in the strength of some of the buildings which have recently collapsed in what used to be called the third world! (e.g. Pakistan, India, China). A very practical man. That preference is the reason I've marked it down a star.John

4.0 out of 5 stars Our Fred 13 April 2009
Only one of the three videos' was about Fred Dibnah. The other two were not what I expected. However the Fred video was worth the cost of the three videos. I would use this company again but spend a little extra time checking what I was purchasing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Freds Building of Britain 4 April 2010
sterling stuff
i bought this set to remind me how "Great" britain once was
"Was" being the operative word
i am in awe of our countryman and very proud
parents should sit their children down and let them watch and learn
and never forget just how "Great" we were before we became err multi-cultural
lost our national identity
FD did us a favour and did us proud
