Poor 5 Jun 2010

The thesaurus in this model is by any standards, really poor. I lost count of the amount of times it couldn't find common words. The crossword solver also seems pretty limited.
As they say, you get what you pay for. So if you want a good thesaurus and crossword solver, look to buying a more expensive model.

The machine is every bit as good as described, and as per other reviews; a good price, and superb free P&P which arrived in two working days. Great stuff.

Thesaurus 3 Mar 2010
I was reluctant to part with my trusty old Franklin thesaurus but decided that the time had come to replace it. I am impressed by the Collins but, for elderly hands, it is proving somewhat "fiddly" as the keys are so much closer together - it is much more suited to younger, more agile fingers. However, I shall persevere and, hopefully, master it before my hands give up the ghost!!!
