My grandchildren have really enjoyed all of these books. They've particularly encouraged one of them to read more than he used to want to.

1.0 out of 5 stars Just awful! 27 May 2014
By MsD
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Terrible, terrible book. I thought it may have been ghost written but it is very clearly written by Mr Lampard. Stick to your day job, Frank. Bit egotistical too to name the character after yourself. I bought it for my class, some of the boys liked it and I am glad it has interested them but the rest of the 9 year olds thought it was absolute drivel. It is badly written and has the most silly storyline. Avoid at all costs!
