More About the Author

Best-selling author Karen McCombie has just finished work on her 80th book, which publishes later in 2015.
The quirky humour and endearing characters in her novels have been inspired by her previous career as a journalist on teenage girls' magazines, her collection of childhood diaries AND a bad habit of listening in to conversations on buses when school is coming out...
Her hobbies include scribbling random observations in notebooks, brushing cat hair from the keyboard of her laptop and posting nonsense on Instagram.

Make sure you've got a lot of time available! You won't be able to put this book down! Frankie, Peaches and Me talks about this girl Stella who's just moved from busy, bright London to boring, old Portbay. She hates it! And how can it get worse? Well, her friends lost touch too and seem to be hiding something from her...then one of her best mates Frankie comes to visit her in Portbay and tells her all that's been going on (even though she really didn;t want to! - you'll see why (if you read the book!!)...This book is so funny and Karen McCombie is such a good author..She makes the book sound so real..!

I really loved the Ally world books, but I didn't think much to
the Stella e.tc books. I thought this books drained on but that might just be because it was the 1st one, don't get me wrong it was a good book not as good as the Ally world books.
The story is about a girl called Stella, who moves away from all her freinds and home, and wishes she could go back.
