When Frankie Foster is asked to look after Emilia, the daughter of her Mum's friend who is in hospital, little does she know how many adjustments she will end up having to make.
It is bad enough having to change bedrooms but Frankie soon finds that she is largely on her own with the task as her sister Angel, brother Tom and friends Skye and Jem find it hard to provide her with the support that she needs.
Frankie faces many unexpected challenges which result in her learning more about the task of befriending than she could have ever imagined.
Once again, Frankie rises to the occasion and experiences a very different kind of friendship. A lovely story expertly told.

This is amazing!!! I love Frankie Foster books. This is really good. I like the fact that Jean Ure is not afraid to use loads of different styled characters in her books. Although some people say there is no storyline, there so is. It is obvious what the story is about. It is simply, that she is faced with a challenge- and what a big challenge it is, and she has to cope with it for a few weeks. I read it within 3-4 days, and I enjoyed it. It's simple, but a definite page turner. I must say, it is quick to finish, and if you want a challenging book, this may not be the one for you. But it is light and easy to read. I would suggest it for 9-12 year olds. :)
