This is such a retro album, if it wasn't for the samples it could almost have been made in 1968. The female vocals are reminiscent of those 60s girl bands, the music is poppy and very funky with touches of soul. The whole thing is probably done with a knowing nod to the world of kitch, but the music is great - and that's what counts. Yes they do make them like that anymore!

I bought this cd for my husband after we saw Frank Popp in Cardiff last year, really enjoyed the tracks and the quality was fine,not sure I'd purchase another as alot of their stuff is much the same but this is great fun to listen to and covers most of their stuff to date.
