Rough Work is the sketchbook for Frank Frazetta.

Right at the start is a biography of Frank Frazetta, a background of his life and career. The rest of the book is a collection of his sketches and concept art. They are created with different medium. He's the legend in fantasy art and the illustrations, even though rough, shows. There are lots of drawings on warriors and women, which is his specialty.

It's a very simple sketchbook and should appeal to fans.

Featuring sketches and concept drawings of one of the great masters of fantasy and sci-fi art, this book presents a complete and living memory of the great Frank Frazetta. Having grown up on his amazing illustrative works - centre-piece of the legendary Tarzan and Conan - through this book I re-discovered where to find inspiration; how to simplify the figurative concept; how to render movement, body language and facial expressions, like a master of the art form. Absolutely awesome and a essential reference source for anyone dreaming of suceed in the field of fantasy and sci-fi art!

Frazetta is possibly one of the most inspirational artists of our time. This collection of sketches just proves he is a master.

Condolences to Frank and his family, hearing of the passing of Mrs Frazetta was very sad news indeed. I dedicate this small review to her memory.

This collection of sketches and thumb nails is a must have for any fan of frank's and any fan of fantasy art as a genre.
