Book Description

Her heart, as delicate as glass. His love, as strong as steel. Can either survive life and death?

Hardy Bradford is an eighteen year old football phenomenon who has the girl, the school, the town and the future in the palm of his hand. His life is all mapped out for him, right down to who he’ll marry and how he’ll become a professional football player. It doesn't seem to matter that Hardy would’ve chosen a much different life if it was up to him. But it's not. At least not until his miracle comes along.

The first time Hardy laid eyes on Miracle St. James, he didn’t know who she was, but he knew she was something different and that he’d never get her out of his head. And he didn’t. Now, months later, Hardy’s world is turned upside down when Miracle shows up in his class, stealing his heart and forever changing the course of his life.

Miracle’s sick. Very sick. And Hardy might be losing the only thing in his life that has ever mattered. How much is too much to sacrifice for the one you love? For just a little more time? For just one more chance? Can Hardy be the hero Miracle needs? Or is it Hardy that needs saving?

About Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are combined. I'm convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story 23 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was a sweet and honest love story. The characters are relatable, the story moves at a good pace and it will leave you satisfied. I did wish that there was some more information and maybe a bit more drama regarding the relapse and thought that some more intensity would have been welcome, but the story does not fall short for lack of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars lovely 23 Jun. 2012

Loved this book, not just a typical teenage love story, my heart was breaking at some points, I would say that there is light sex scenes in it so not really for young teens, im over 30 and I loved it, well worth the price.

this is a very tender and moving love story it was told from hardy,s point of view almost all the way through the book with only a paragraph or two from miracles pov i would have liked a bit more insight into her thoughts and feelings thats my only complaint it was still an enjoyable read though.

What a sweet story, I couldn't put it down. I feared the end, thought I'd be a crying mess but I was smiling instead. A very enjoyable read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good, yet very wrong 4 Aug. 2013

Good, yet very wrong

This book had so much potential...

The author really has talent to grab the reader's attention and pull you emotionally to the story and I really liked the hero's POV. It allows me to see what's in his head and judge for myself if I like it or not. Regrettable I did not liked hardy's actions to be a reasonably enough to feel sympathetic towards his character. When he meet the heroin he already had a girlfriend but it did not stop him from having lustful thoughts about the heroin, he even stared at her in front of his
girlfriend. Now, I can see that the author is trying to make the girlfriend look very negative and unsympathetic so the reader would presumingly feel less guilty about it. But actually I felt sorry for her because despite being shallow and unlikable, she did not deserved to be treated in this way by the hero. They have been together for many years and Hardy just realised that he really was over her a year a go, so Why then give her a false hopes by pretending that nothing has changes and continue the relationship??? He did it for his own selfish reasons I gees, by not wanting to confront his father's disapproval if he decided to break up with her, but what about his girlfriend's feelings? Even if she was not the most unlikable character, he should be a real man and have a REAL CONVERSATION WITH HER! It felt wrong seeing his interest with the heroin, whilst being still in a relationship with his girlfriend. No matter how upset he was with her it was deliberate cheating and even if the girlfriend was difficult to understand and connect too, the situation was not dealt well and I felt sorry for the girlfriend...
