Book Description

26 Mar 2009

Ancient traditions viewed 'time' as the great ripples of a galactic wave that ebb and flow as they travel throughout the universe. Late 20th century discoveries revealed that even the most complex things in nature are really simple patterns - fractals - that repeat themselves in predictable ways.

Applying the new 'laws' of fractals to the ancient waves of time, visionary scientist and bestselling author Gregg Braden proposes that everything, from the way we age to the wars between nations, are simply the returning waves of our past, with each one carrying a more powerful, amplified version of itself. Discover the great secret of our moment in history, and what we can expect as the 5000-year-cycle of the ancient Mayan calendar ends in 2012.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some interesting points 24 Jun 2009
Format:Paperback
The science in this book is new to me but the theory and ideas are something that I already know anyway. I think that the author has missed some links and pints in this work and this will be entirely due to his personal beliefs about life. Quite an interesting read. Glad that I bought it because it has helped me evolve some of my own ideas.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting viewpoint 14 July 2009
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Gregg Braden has done it again. This latest book, describing the process of Fractal time, fills in even more gaps about the nature of the universe. Parts of it are a little complex, but overall this is a really interesting viewpoint that shows us how patterns in life repeat themselves continuously in a harmonic process based on mathematical formulae involving the sacred 'Phi'. Highly recommended, as are all of Gregg Braden's books.
